At the 2008 Awards luncheon, the Bernie Schnieders Memorial Award was presented by Dr. Stephen Kissin and Joni Schnieders to Corey Wendland (MSc Geol.) This award is given to a graduate student who demonstrates a keen interest in economic geology and mineral fieldwork. Corey graduated in 2007 from University of Minnesota-Duluth in geology. The title of his thesis is "Depositional Controls on Placer Development in the Neoarchean Doré Conglomerate, Wawa, Superior Province".  Dr. Stephen Kissin and Corey Wendland |
